Riyadh – Mubasher: The co-located DATE AI Show and DATE Fintech Show, which kicked off on 11 December 2023 at the JW Marriot Hotel Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, brought together prominent artificial intelligence (AI) and fintech experts, innovators, investors, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.
The two-day event was managed by Trescon, which Group CEO, Naveen Bharadwaj, said: "DATE KSA serves as a convergence point, uniting industry experts and disruptors to pioneer a decentralized, technology-centric future.”
Bharadwaj elaborated on the event by saying: “I am excited about the significant role this event will play, fostering substantial transformations within the Kingdom's technological landscape. It empowers visionaries to architect a vibrant and innovative tomorrow."
This collective assembly reflected Saudi Arabia's role in propelling the global AI and fintech-led digital transformation amid the increasing service digitisation in addition to the integration of AI and fintech solutions, according to a press release.
Both DATE AI and DATE Fintech shows gathered more than 1,000 high-ranking attendees, over 100 speakers, and 200 investors, along with 50 sponsors and partners.
Different topics were tackled during the event, covering the fintech industry's exploration of generative AI advancements, as well as insights into Data Life Cycle Utilization with Artificial Intelligence and other engaging subjects.
As part of the event there was a presentation on ‘Empowering the Kingdom’s Future with AI Upsurge’, which was led by Chairman - ICT Committee, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, Mansour Alobaid, who said: “The DATE AI Show is not just an event, it’s a convergence of innovation, expertise, and limitless possibilities. As we gather in the heart of Riyadh, a global hub of technological advancement, the AI Show promises to unveil the future of artificial intelligence.”
